Three steps

Crop a PDFin about ten seconds.

  1. Select your PDF, or drop it onto the page. It opens in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
  2. Drag the box over what you want to keep, or pick a preset like Trim 10%.
  3. Click Download cropped PDF. The same crop applies to every page.

Why use this tool

One crop,every page.

A free online PDF cropper with no app to install. Trim a scanned margin, a printer’s bleed area, or unwanted white space around the edge of every page at once.

  • Drag to cropDrag the box or its corners over exactly what you want to keep.
  • Margin presetsTrim 5%, 10% or 15% off every edge in one click, no dragging needed.
  • Applies to every pageOne crop, set once, applied consistently across the whole document.
  • Nothing else changesText, images and layout stay exactly as they were — only the visible area shrinks.

Crop vs. delete

Cropping changes what part of the page is visible — it does not remove pages or edit what is on them. To remove whole pages instead, use Delete Pages; to rewrite or cover something on a page, use the PDF Editor.

Different page sizes in the same PDF

The crop is applied as a percentage of each page, not a fixed measurement, so a document with mixed page sizes still gets a consistent-looking trim on every page.

The question everybody asks

Is it really free?

Yes. No account, no trial, no watermark on the output, no cap on file size or number of pages, and no payment step between you and the download button.

It is free because it is cheap to run: your PDF is cropped by your own browser, so there is no upload, no server doing the work and no storage to pay for. That is also why the privacy answer is short — the file never leaves your device.

FAQ

Questions peopleactually ask.

How do I crop a PDF for free?

Drop your PDF onto this page, drag the box over the area you want to keep — or pick a preset like Trim 10% — then click Download cropped PDF. The crop applies to every page and the file saves straight to your device, with no account and no watermark.

Does cropping a PDF delete the trimmed part permanently?

It depends on the viewer. Cropping changes the page’s visible area (the CropBox), which is what every PDF viewer and printer honours, but the trimmed content technically remains in the file underneath. If you need the trimmed area permanently removed rather than hidden, treat the result the same way you would treat White-out on the PDF Editor — it is not the same as deleting data.

Can I crop just some pages, not the whole PDF?

This tool applies one crop to every page, which covers the common case — trimming a scanned margin or a printer’s bleed area across a whole document. Cropping individual pages differently isn’t supported here yet.

Will cropping resize or reflow the text on the page?

No. Cropping only changes which part of the existing page is shown — nothing on the page moves, scales, or reflows. Content inside your crop box looks exactly as it did before; content outside it is simply no longer part of the visible page.

Can I crop a scanned PDF?

Yes. Cropping works on the page geometry, not the text layer, so it works the same whether the page is a scan, a photo, or a normal PDF page.
