Rotate PDF

This tool rotates PDF pages in your browser, permanently — not just in the viewer. Turn one page or every page 90°, 180° or 270°, then download the result — free, with no account, no watermark and no file limit. Your file is processed on your own device and is never uploaded to a server.

  • No signup
  • No watermark
  • No file limit
  • Free at download

Three steps

Rotate a PDFin about ten seconds.

  1. Select your PDF, or drop it onto the page. It opens in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
  2. Click ⟳ on any page to rotate it, or "Rotate all" to turn every page at once.
  3. Click Save. The download is rotated for good, no account and no watermark.

Why use this tool

Fixes the file, not just the view.

A free online PDF rotator with no app to install. The most common request here is a scanned document that opens sideways — this fixes it once, for good.

  • Permanent, not per-viewerSaved into the file itself — it opens the right way up everywhere, not just here.
  • Rotate one pageFix a single sideways scan without touching the rest of the document.
  • Rotate every pageOne click turns the whole document 90° — for a batch scanned the wrong way.
  • Nothing else changesOrientation only. Content, quality and page order stay exactly as they were.

Need to reorder or remove pages too?

Organize PDF is this same tool with reordering and page removal turned on as well — useful if rotation is only part of the cleanup a document needs.

The question everybody asks

Is it really free?

Yes. No account, no trial, no watermark on the output, no cap on file size or page count, and no payment step between you and the download button.

It is free because it is cheap to run: your PDF is rotated by your own browser, so there is no upload, no server doing the work and no storage to pay for. That is also why the privacy answer is short — the file never leaves your device.

FAQ

Questions peopleactually ask.

How do I rotate a PDF permanently, not just in the viewer?

Most PDF viewers only rotate the page on your screen — reopen the file and it is sideways again. This tool changes the file itself: rotate the pages, click Save, and the download opens the right way up in any viewer, on any device.

Can I rotate just one page, not the whole document?

Yes. Each page has its own rotate button, so a document scanned with one sideways page can be fixed without touching the rest. Use "Rotate all 90°" instead if every page needs the same turn.

Why is my scanned PDF sideways or upside down?

Usually the paper went through the scanner in a different orientation than the software expected. It is a scanning issue, not a corrupted file — rotating the page here fixes it permanently.

Does rotating a PDF reduce quality?

No. Rotation only changes the page’s orientation metadata — the content itself, whether text or a scanned image, is not re-rendered or re-compressed.

Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?

If the PDF only has an owner password (restricting editing, not opening), this tool can usually still load and rotate it. If it needs a password just to open, remove that password first.
